I already excluded the belt and other components, the noise is coming from the motor. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What should I do? Open the motor up? I think it is the bearings of the motor that have gone noisy due to lubrication problems (beogram&amp;#39;s been still for years, before I bought it two months ago).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anything special to keep in mind when working on a motor like this?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Or is this a sign of the entire motor being bad, and should I start looking for a new one?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Any help is greatly appreciated!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Thanks,&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Chieljan &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;EDIT: the noise is gone now... but it&amp;#39;s turning way too slow!
