There is no real other way of testing yours and I would do this before you get diverted at a number of tangents once you start to delve inside the deck. What model is it&amp;nbsp; - it should have MMC written on the top&amp;nbsp;followed by a number. I have checked all wires and speakers - everything seems ok. The turntable, CD and radio all seem to work but invariably there is no sound or occassionally very quiet, distorted sound.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I cant find my original manual and am at a loss what else to try out.
