Regarding the keypad, I suppose you could also use a piece from the old Beocord 5000 for practice. That may be easier (and cheaper) to source.

So someone outbid my $26.50+12.00 shipping for 4002 keypad in the last 30secs of auction, as USUAL!

Does anybody want to sell me a 4002/4 keypad in need of refinishing so I can fiure out how to refinish them without destroying the only one I've got?

Apparently someone else sees value in a junk cartridge-I've been outbid and when I raised it was covered. Good ole EBay!

Sounds good... I need to recap my 4004... I'm getting some strange faults at the moment!

If you don't win, I have the stylus guard from a broken MMC20E that you could have. I even have a stylus from a broken MMC6000 if you fancy a real challenge!

That would be me. I need a stylus guard for a MMC 4000, and because he combines shipping, and I already bid on the keyboard that needs refinishing (hint: experiment), I figured for 10 bucks it would be reasonable.

PS: the 4002 is re-capped and nearly done; more about that later
