This was the later type with the black plastic speed selector (with no text for 78 rpm even it is selectable). I took the whole motor - speed adjustment block out and disassembled completely. There is harden lubricants everywhere inside so you have to clean every single axis and moving part. Takes time but makes it work.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Another thing related to this topic. The one I cleaned is working, but it won&amp;#39;t get to the right speed. The stroboscope stripes run counter-clockwise and the adjustmenter knob makes it just run faster. I had some washers left over so I guess it&amp;#39;s the cause. Where should those be situated? It will sometimes help if you rotate the pulley on the motor shaft as if it had a normal threading and pull at the same time. Naturally the motor has seized up and from other threads I learned that the bearings need to be cleaned and soaked in hot oil. The bottom bearing is easy to remove, but how is the top bearing removed?
