If you need to source another cartridge a&nbsp;SMMC4 from Sound Smith in the States or trying your luck on ebay for one of the B&amp;O originals are&nbsp;your best&nbsp;options.&nbsp; </p><p>Try taking the 3300 or cartridge to B&amp;O Service they can probably test each for you.</p><p>Did you get the phono stage sorted? A very naive question which is asked with trepidation but... my parents 3300 system (tuntable) has a suspected faulty stylus and cartridge. I have four questions.</p><p>1. when replacing do I have to replace both the stylus and cartridge?</p><p>2. what other brand can be substituted as replacement parts (yep, I know but my dad is having &quot;heart failure&quot; at the cost of new B&amp;O parts)</p><p>3.Could anyone advise where we can purchase alternative or substitute&nbsp;stylus and cartridge in Sydney or Australia?</p><p>4.
