&lt;p&gt;The RCA cable was a sugestion to be more flexible if you want to connect something else than computer or Ipod, the RCA is used in a lot of turntables, CD players, and amps or recievrs. I have tried Foobar, VLC; nothing works, though the salesman said it would. Is there a setting I am missing?&lt;/p&gt;
