I tried to connect an apple tv gen 2 to my beosytem2. The picture is not the issue but as I have only the optical spdif out I did connect that via a converter to the digital-in.
The result: Only sound in some of the movies but most of them have no sound at all. Is it really the issue that the doesn't decode PCM-stereo via spdif or is there a trick to make it work?
If this is the isse, is there any device that I can use to convert the PCM signal to AC3 that the Beosystem would be able to understand it?
Cheers
