I used that initially to implement my fast scrolling workaround IRED/IRTRANS. Holding the cross down started it, pushing any other key stopped it. That worked amazingly well. However when I upgraded my Imac to 1GB of RAM the scrolling became to fast and you couldn't read the text anymore. So I switched back to some sort of "Page Down" "Page Up" model which is OK too.

I believe that Kjeld implemented fasts crolling with the USB version of lintronik, so there are ways to get this done.

JK

Re: Beo5 Frontrow Mac controller?

Salling Clicker does fast scrolls on Macs. Beoport can't, Beosystem can't, IRED/Lintronik can only workaround. It seems to be very unique to Apple how they implemented that, I would not expect Beo 5 to be able to handle that.

Without fast scrolling there is not much of a point in my opinion.

Beo5 Frontrow Mac controller?

Will the Beo 5 be able to replace the Apple remote in controlling Frontrow on Mac or am I just wishful thinking that it can control 3rd party devices via software updates?
