But now I have encountered another problem. There is virtually no sound in my Beolab3500 when I choose V-AUX. Could it have something to do with the fact that I use a HDMI-cable?

Had my B&O Serviceman on a visit today, and installed til iPod remote software. It worked!!!!!!!

It seems the STB versions are locally different. They do not store all devices but only what is common in a country.

It seems a bit chaotic. I.e. here in US t was working perfectly but nobody did know. I asked Beocare and it toook them long time to confirm but in the end they did.

So maybe mention that it is working with the US BV 8 32 and the Ipod Remote.

I have it connected to AV3 through STB(V-AUX). I gave selected IR-port C2 and HDMI. I have got a decoder connected to DTV in IR-port C1. The STB controller I selcted is "AppleRemote". That is my only option. The B&O serviceman who wisited me, only uploaded the controller I needed for my decoder and AppleRemote. I have tried to see the signals from the IR-blaster through my cellular camera. I can see i transmittes something, but the signal seems weak. I have tried to switch from C2 to C1, but nothing seems to help. But maybe i have to get him to upload "Ipod Remote" instead.

can you post details, I have it working. I.e. what source you are using, what port the IR connector is linked to, STB version ..... I am in the US, it worked out of the Box on the 32". Is "AppleRemote" the STB controller you selected? Mine is called "Ipod Remote". it works including fast scrolling.

I have a Beovision 8 and Apple TV. I had the tv upgraded with AppleRemote in the STB list. I have connected the Apple TV through a HDMI- cable. But I can not get the Beo4 to control the AppleTV....

Any ideas???
