Hi,

AirPort Express & Monster-cables were delivered today
Very easy to install /setup.
iTunes is now playing through BeoSystem 6500

Next step is to learn the Apple Remote codes into the Lintronic converter
so that i can control iTunes by Beo4.

I have to say that so far, i'm enjoying the swith to Mac,
and i ask myself why i didn't make the swith earlier !

You will need a "Stereo Bluetooth" enable device. (A2DP).

I googled it an it seems that Apple doesnt do that yet

You may want to search some more but why would you not want to use an airport express?

Yes, i will get an Airport Express, eventually.

For the moment, the new MacBook Pro and the recent B&O purchases have depleted my savings

Hi and thanks for your reply.

It finds the wireless music receiver and classifies it as "headset",

but then it displays "no supported services" ,

whereas the K800i finds the audio receiver and displays these services:

"Audiostreaming" and "remote control for audio"

Hi all,

Just purchased a MacBook Pro and i was wondering if i play music wireless via Bluetooth.

Currently, to play music wireless, i use a Sony Ericsson K800i with a wireless music receiver (MBR-100)

to play the music from the phone through the speakers of the Beosystem 6500.

Does the Bluetooth of the MacBook Pro support the service "Audio Streaming" ?
