Gee. Quite a bit of money for a cart that probably won't work anywhere near to the spec measurements that came with it.

To be honest, I think this series of cartridges isn't quite as eager to disintegrate as the MMCx. My Beogram 6000 is still running the 25€ MMC20EN I got on fleaBay, and the couple of 20S's I've received with turntables are fine as well. Still, I'd tuck this stuff in a drawer if I was the winner...

Collectibles often sell at insane price levels But (as Tournedos wrote) I guess the buyer will be disappointed if he (or she) intends to use it.

I have no doubt someone else will win it! My personal rule of thumb is never pay more than $100 for something without seeing it and listening to it in person, unless I personally know the seller.

For the record, I'll guess $285.
