Just had a closer look - on the perimeter it reads Skandinavisk Radio & Televison Denmark (-> so the middle ought to be SRT) Type 643 F1 (?). And actually found something!

The stand-alone player actually used the Beogram 1000 chassis (at least it looks a lot like it).

So this record player was produced by the company that also produced the Beograms - thus explaining the shared parts; similiar to the HMV ones that come up for sale every now and then. And it indeed uses a flip-cartridge!

Anybody got a leftover 1000 chassis?

I tried to enlarge and manipulate the sticker from the photo, in the middle is SRI on a world globe, over that its TYPE G43 xx= dont know maybe ff, under SRI is 220V 50Hz and D/N lowest on the edge of sticker I think DANMARK even searched for SRI but no luck

Just curious. I might buy it anyway, I kind of like it.

Now at first glance, this doesn't look like B&O at all - but then again, if you look close, it uses the speed selector from the Beogram 42.

Possibly from a B&O radiogram? Anybody know about it? Martin?

I particularly like that this is prepared (or alreday has, can't really tell) for a flip-cartridge - I have yet to find a "real" B&O to play my 78s.
