&lt;p&gt;It looks like a Dirigent which, I believe, it basically is but it reads Grand Prix on the dial.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It is the radio part from a Grand Prix TV 609K&amp;nbsp; Radio/TV combination where the TV part&lt;br /&gt;was cut away and the speakers (strangely) mounted underneath.&lt;br /&gt;The plastic backside has obviously been cut from the larger cabinet to fit this slim one and&lt;br /&gt;the chassis will live a warm life in there.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;A nice piece but not original like this.&lt;br /&gt;It&amp;#39;s not unusual to see radio chassis&amp;#39; &amp;quot;rescued&amp;quot; from dead TV sets like this.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I believe that Frede (Classic) has a similar set only in a different and smaller cabinet.&lt;/p&gt;
