well, i know it works....but im waiting on a cable from Steve in soundheavenly which i ordered a few days ago. cos of where i have the Beosound9000 (i.e. above fireplace and all the cabled are ebbedded in the plaster wall!!! - now THAT was clever lol) ) , i will have to run the beogram7000 tru the TV, so i needed a 7 metre extention cable that i can conceal behind skirting boards:)

Hopefully i get it later next week and ill be up and running. Actually, if u r into older B&O, this turntable is really lovely. U probably know it. but it looks like it came off production line last week...immaculate! I got it from Graham, a memeber here also, who runs Stemma AV in ELY uk. really impressed with his service and the quailty of the stuff. it was packed well enough to withstand a space shuttle re-enrty lol. ill post a few pics soon of my set-up, when i get the beogram intalled n running.

as for the BV7-55 3d, well, its a bit beyond my budget...but ur right, its a stunning piece of kit. ill have to live with that old BV7-40 a bit longer !!!!!

I think you will more than 5k for a bv55. A stunning piece of kit but a tad to big for my tv room.

I am more focused on getting beoclassics, hows the "new" record player working out?

as soon as i have about 5K saved, ill go back to them in D4 n order the Beosound 5 encore....might be a few months though lol.

or upgrade my TV to the BV7-55 :):):).....

but when the beo4 remote is in it, its actually ok looking.

want one for my bathroom wall as the damn remote is gona end up in the loo or bath if i dont park it in a wall bracket lol.

Ill ask the boys in D4 Value when im over that way in a few weeks - but i hate going in there n just buying a 30E piece of plastic...lol....feel like a cheapskate! right now cant afford to do any major purchases, so wanted to put off going in till i can :):)...u know what i mean...

I always laugh when they sell for so much more on ebay than their RRP. They retail in Australia for $30, yet often sell for over $50 on ebay!!!
