I have never used the silver stuff I doubt it is flexible enough tbh. I can imagine it breaking away and leaving debris to short tracks etc... I might be wrong though!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The stuff I use us rubber carbon based specially designed for remote repairs. &lt;p&gt;I repaired mine using a special conductive rubber paint (not the silver stuff which is not suitable) but I don&amp;#39;t know where you get the stuff from anymore, as it seems to be discontinued!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;You can get that from car spares shops. It&amp;#39;s used to repair heated rear screens. What I was looking for, is the actual rubber keys. You can get the later MK3/4/5 ones from B&amp;amp;O as a spare part.&lt;/p&gt;
