&lt;p&gt;The Beogram 1800 uses a lift/lower system only visible below deck, not like the BG1700 at all.&lt;br /&gt;I have an idea of what has happened but if you can provide a part number or a photo of&lt;br /&gt;the exact part to confirm, maybe then I can help you.&lt;/p&gt;

The thing is that this part doesn&amp;#39;t exist. &lt;img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/02.gif" alt="Big Smile" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I had three 1800s and none of these had that part. It is not in the service manual as well. Obviously the 1800 doesn&amp;#39;t need it due to another mechanism.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;By the way, this is about my 1800, isn&amp;#39;t it? So you still have the same problem I had? &lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m trying to bring back to life my Beogram 1800 (which is mint condition) but I&amp;#39;m missing the small plastic part that rests below the catridge arm and protects the arm from going comletely down.
