I tried to bend the spring under heat but once bent it quickly looses its spring and the lid wont stay up anymore.</p> <p>I am after a&nbsp;replacement lid and associated spring assembly. ie basically unscrew the existing unit from another Beocenter 5000 and screw it on to mine.</p> <p>I understand the dust covers from either a Beocenter 5000, 7000 or 7002 will all be the same with the exception of the writing on the top left-hand corner so happy to consider all options... I am pretty sure the 7700 dust cover isnt appropriate as it has aluminium over the turntable.</p> <p>I am in the state of Victoria in Australia and happy to pay with Paypal,etc</p> <p>Please help!</p> <p>Thanks</p> <p>Andrew :)</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
