I believe both versions were type 2035
and they are completely the same on the outside and in function. Actually, the 20-pin version is
the one' I've seen most often.

Martin,

are you sure this is Type 2035?

My Beomaster 6000 (Types 2251-2254) schematic for Beomaster Terminal 2035 is the one with a 24-pin SN 76831.

hi guys...

sorry for the delay getting back to you, and frankly this is a bit confusing to me...

my man clearly states that it is for a type 2035, but shows the same 24 pin sn 76831???

martin, if you need it -i will be happy to scan it for you, but it doesn't sound like what you are looking for...

Anyone ?

Yes, it is indeed a Terminal 6000.
I agree that it has a very similar circuit to the Terminal 5000 but not quite
the same... I have a fault in the button matrix and as the contact board is covered
in black plastic, I would prefer to look at a diagram to select
areas to attack rather than take it all apart.

Valve stuff is fascinating and exciting to work with but it does take time
to get it right and you do have to be careful. As you say, voltages as high
as those usually found in valve things should be respected.
I haven't had much time lately to work on the Beolit 39 but
the thread will, hopefully, soon be updated.
Thanks for your interest, greatly appreciated !

are you sure this is Type 2035?

My Beomaster 6000 (Types 2251-2254) schematic for Beomaster Terminal 2035 is the one with a 24-pin SN 76831.

In the Beomaster 5000 (2321-2325/2329) there's a Beomaster Terminal 2039 with a 20 pin COP-processor and Diodes in the keymatrix. Might this be the one?

greetings,

 hx

P.S. I am following your "classic repair" - definitely something I wouldn't dare as I was always afraid of the twohundred-something Volts needed for valves; My electronic life started with OC70's from TVs from scrap in the early 60s - and 4.5V batteries

Re: Beomaster Terminal schematics

martin,
