table stands are still available from B&O for about £20

Michael, yep I guess it would be better with a stand although it does sit perfectly well without one. This is how my mate used it sat on a low table without any problems as far as I know.

Lifestyle have a wall bracket on for £45 if you want to wall mount it?

Having just read up a bit on the Century on this site & beocentral (having never had one), it says the Century needs a stand or needs to be mounted on a bracket as it is not 'freestanding' unit. Is this correct?

Assuming this is correct, I've just quickly scanned ebay for a Century table stand for example and cannot find any available. How has your friend been using it? Shouldnt he be selling it together with a stand or bracket under normal cirumstances..?

If indeed it is true that the unit alone cannot be used without a stand or bracket, and it seems difficult to obtain same on the used market, this obviously presents an immediate difficulty.....can you advise?

BeoSound century 1995 very clean!!!

My mate has asked me to sell his BeoSound Century for him to my anoyance, how do I say no?

It is a nice example but an early model from 1995 with Grey frets. Checked it over and it is in perfect working order. The frets have a few clicks and i would replace them with a more desirable and fresher pair if I were to want it. Original manual is with it.

Due to the fragility of the item I would need it collecting from West Yorkshire. I could have it delivered down the M1 corridor by a courier mate of mine who I know would be careful with it. Not sure of his costs but will ask for anyone interested

Happy to send photos to interested parties.

Would like to get him £190 or very close. Happy to listen to offers of course.
