Can we not have a thread in the sales section alerting fellow Beoworlders to our sales on ebay, etc.? (Available to Gold and Silver members only)

I don't see how a seperate thread could harm anyone; and it would be nice knowing you are buying from a fellow Beoworlder, and can ask questions direct to them rather than through ebay

Actually you didn't. As the guidelines of this subforum say (everybody should review them), auction links may be allowed at moderators' discretion. Our current interpretation is that it is usually OK, if the item has been up for grabs over here for a while.

This may change if we start to get flooded with posts that apparently have no purpose other than preadvertise future eBay listings. Sales posts that begin with an eBay link, and anything that seems to have commercial interests without prior agreement, will still get deleted at first sight.

Sorry - wasn't aware i broke any rules. 9300 is now SOLD and off to a new home for many more years of service.

I'm sure a price would help proceedings so any takers at £395..... A very fair price for a pre-christmas clear out for a tasty piece of B&O, recently serviced and all 100% functional. If you need a pic let me know and i'll send one over.

Hi all,

I've got a beautiful BC9300 up for grabs - its in lovely condition, a few very very light marks on the top panels but nothing you could see standing over it easily. The CD, Tape and Radio all work fine, new mute capacitor fitted when having a service so all works as it should. Too nice for it to be sitting in my spare room so i'm open to sensible offers.

Collection only from Birmingham (10 mins from the airport) so it can be demonstrated. A lovely piece of kit and one that doesn't suffer the dreaded CD mechanism woes!
