Do you still have the cartridges, my native born house cleaning assistent broke my MMC4, and I badly need one, the broken one I will send to Modular for retipping, if your repair turns out well.

Two Used MMC4 cartridges for sale

For those who don't know, Benny at Modular Electronics refurbishes B&O cartridges. I have a refurbed MMC4 coming from him that will become my new cartridge. Meanwhile, I've been using two used MMC4s I purchased from a popular auction site in the past couple months.

While not unhappy with the quality of the two MMC4s I currently own, I'm confident Benny's will be superior. Instead of sticking these other cartridges in a drawer, I figured I'd sell them.

Now, I probably spent too much for them on that popular auction site, but I had the money and had been sans vinyl for too long and was impulsive. Knowing I may have overspent a tad, I am willing to take a small loss on each cartridge to the right people. So that means Beoworld members. I would also prefer to spread the wealth and sell each cartridge to a different person.

I have made a few recordings (with Audacity) on my PC with both cartridges. Snippets of these recordings plus photographs of the cartridges (installed in my RX2) are available upon request.

So, make an offer. Be advised, though, I'm not going to just take the first $50 offered. If there's no interest, or the loss is just too high (can't torque off the wife too much), I'll use another method to sell.
