glad to hear from you! i was getting a little bit concerned!

i am happy that all has arrived safely, hopefully no solders have been jarred loose in transit!

let us all know how you get along with your new system.

it has been my pleasure...

p.s. the "cloth" was rather valuable cotton flannel bedding that went out in a blaze of shearing and wrapping something much more dear than my pajama-wrapped corpus.

Last night the B&O system I bought arrived via UPS from Jeff. I have never had a delivery packaged safer or better. Each piece was triple wrapped with cloth, smaller and then larger bubble wrap, and double boxed with padding.

Jeff was super responsive to email and my questions. Anyone here should feel incredibly safe buying from him.

Unfortunatly I didn't have time to set the system up last night, so I'm making excuses in my head to leave work early so I can go play with it tonight.

Thanks again!

have been moving some goods off at a pretty good clip...

have an update re: specific items

1.) i have for sale the following bl6000's... pearly red w/ red frets (maroon color) they are in good condition. small mark on top of one, and a small thread pull on one fret. bases have light scuffs, otherwise excellent, and perfect electrically/sonically... will hit ebay w/ a bin of 1000usd shortly... first beworlder with 900 OBO gets them, shipping will be free in the continental usa, overseas is no problem for exact shipping price (usps)... paypal is preferred.

2.) another pair of bl6000... silver w/ black frets. excellent. would prefer to trade these for bl4000 in silver w/ silver frets in similar condition (would like wall mount kit too)...

pics can be taken if desired...

thx,

++++edit++++

when pulling these out for photos for a beoworlder, i noticed some light scuffing on the silver pair ...not noticed prior. not terrible, but perhaps very good condition rather than the previously commented "excellent." ...keep in mind i am very conservative w/ my descriptions (there is no such thing as mint or perfect).

Well, it was going to happen sooner or later...

I am going to clear out some of my older collection (from projects to mint) and thought I'd give Beoworlders first stab.

Lots of stuff... Cash, paypal, or I also may consider newer B&O trades...I am in SE USA -would prefer local (regional - I can drive) pickup, but will ship at cost. I can provide pics and detailed descriptions upon request...

Here is a "rough" cross section...

1.) Complete 3300 system (great bm, bc has some flutter -may need belts, cd -needs attention, bg -untested) all in vg condition + spares (bm needs attention, 2 bc's) + terminal.

2.) Several bm1900's and 2400's, 3000 + several remote commanders.

3.) Mint tx2 / very good rx2 -needs tested. / several bg 400x's -sorry, no 4000!

4.) Excellent bc7000 + stand -needs nothing + terminal.

5.) bc7700 - needs attention + mcp!

6.) bm6000 / bc6000 / bc 8004 / bg8002 -various conditions + terminal.

7.) bc3500 -untested.

8.) teak bm1000 + teak 2200's!

9.) mx5000 + ms5000 stand + bl1000.

10.) boxes of mcl goods...

etc... the list goes on... My bio covers most of the goods. Just ask, 'cause I may have it!

Thx and happy holidays!

++++edit++++

in a brief (very brief) moment of clarity -i thought it would be easier to list what i plan on NOT SELLING from my bio...

basically, mostly newer + a few older...

avant / bs9000 / bs4500 / (1) each: bm1000/2200/2400/4000/4400/ bc2200 / (1) each: bg4002/4004 / (2) pairs of s45 / (1) each: 2200/mc120.2 / all beolabs / all beocoms + beotalk1200 / MAYBE the bc9300

pretty much everything else is fair game!

good grief... i feel like i just chose between children (sad)

regarding b&o trades: i may be looking for a bs2 or a serene, or???

++++edit++++
