That laminated plastic is beginning to curl.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Uh oh!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;The 8002 has a similar ring, but it&amp;#39;s metal, and I&amp;#39;ve heard that it&amp;#39;s identical and can be used to replace the plastic one on the 8000.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Does anyone know if that&amp;#39;s true? And if it&amp;#39;s true, does anyone have a trashed 8002 with a good tach ring?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;Ah, me ... the trials and tribulations ...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
