Some corrections: The A&D building is actually a small office in the Poliform store, more of an outpost for us in another shop. They do not have a full lineup of equipment. The Design Center is really a more architect/designer oriented shop, as a sort of Business-To-Business store. You may not be able to get into the building without some credentials. But we at Madison would love to do business with you!

Have been to both UWS and UES. Both are very fine stores, UWS went out of their way to help me with a spare part. I would take the one closer to your home.

I was very satisfied when I bought my Cona from the UES store - but that was 10 years ago and they may well have changed since then!

Moving to New York (from the UK) in a month or so. I won't be replacing all of my current B&O line-up but will definitely pick up a couple of items, including speakers etc.

Any recommendations shop-wise (I gather there are three shops - UWS, UES or downtown)?

Is there a "LifeStyle AV" equivalent in New York?
