Choose 'Music Systems' then 'BeoCenter Music Centers' and 'BeoCenter 9300' and 'View Manuals'. There should be at least the user manuals there.

Cabling pinouts for PowerLink are:

Pin 1: PowerLink on >= 2.5V; off <= 0,5V

Pin 2: Signal Ground

Pin 3: Audio Left out: 0V--6.5V RMS

Pin 4: PowerLink Speaker on >= 2.5V; off <= 0,5V

Pin 5: Audio Right out: 0V--6.5V RMS

Pin 6: Data High >3.5V; Low <0.8V

Pin 7: Data Ground

Pin 8: No connection

No connection to metal jacket

Good luck!

Re: Cable Adapters

I'm a Gold Member now - where do I find the ENGLISH 44 page manual?

Thanks

Re: Cable Adapters

Have a look at the sister site - www.Beotech.co.uk which has the wiring diagrams. If using Beolab active speakers, I would get the B&O Powerlink cables - they are actually 8 pin.

The passive speaker connections are 2 pin DIN, available from Maplin.

Not sure which manual is on the official site - the one on here is 44 pages. You need to be a silver or gold member to access them though.

Cable Adapters

Newbie here. I just bought a BEO 9300 from a pawn shop and would like to connect some active speakers.

1) I have read the FAQ's and a few postings on this forum, but want to know if anyone has schematic/wiring diagrams for the "preamp" jacks so I can build my own.

2) Not clear on the 7-pin DIN's - evidently, 5-pin is OK (just 2 conductors are being used per output)?

3) If I do buy ready-made adapters, any source/part numbers?

4) What about passive speakers - are those jacks proprietary to B&O?

5) Also, on the B&O website the "manual" for the 9300 was very basic. Does anyone have info on the operation of this unit.

Thanks in advance,

Chris
