My thoughts as well, no use of batteries etc. As long as it sounds great I'm happy

Re: CX100 Re-Foam

Thanks for critique! I don't notice any problems with the sound in comparison to that of my S45s or Form2 headphones--that said it could change tomorrow or in three months. I don't think the precision factor is as great as what some members have made it out to be. I installed them as logically as I could.

Also, I will try posting the pictures differently so you don't have to copy and paste the links.

It looks like the inner ring on this picture has not been glued so properly. Not sure if it has any effect on the sound quality though.

If it doesn't then I dont have to work so precise the next time when I do my refoaming job.

btw, compliments on your first attempt doing refoaming

CX100 Re-Foam

As promised, Here are some pictures from my CX refoaming project. A few notes--this was the first time I had ever attempted refoaming speakers and I consider myself slightly above average with technical knowledge and I like to learn. The first one came out the best (ironically) and I was disappointed that the others look messy with the glue.

The sound seems to be solid and I am happy with the performance after this project. Please share your comments and insight!
