&lt;p&gt;Try cleaning the lens with a Q-tip and denatured alcohol.&amp;nbsp; If that dosen&amp;#39;t do it you probably need a CD mech.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Search the forum for BeoSound 9000 test mode.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;div class="ForumPostContentText"&gt;I am also having the same problem as the original poster.&amp;nbsp; The CD&amp;#39;s don&amp;#39;t spin.&amp;nbsp; Sometimes it tries to spin but only gets about 15 degrees around at most.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;ve had occasions when the CD&amp;#39;s spin a few revolutions and then stop, but in those cases it was caused by dirty or scratched CD&amp;#39;s.&amp;nbsp; Now it just doesn&amp;#39;t spin at all (or 15 degrees at the most).&amp;nbsp; I already tried cleaning the glass and the optical sensors and it still doesn&amp;#39;t work, but as I understand it if those sensors were dirty they would slow down or stop the carriage movement, however, in this case the carriage moves at normal speed, but once it picks up the CD it does not spin it.&amp;nbsp; I even unplugged the power cord for a couple of hours to see if it will reset (I&amp;#39;ve had other problems where this has helped), but in this case it made no difference.&amp;nbsp; So are there any other suggestions that could fix this problem? &lt;/div&gt;
