MCP6500 will work, but is huge, heavy and consumes batteries (I sold mine beacuse of these reasons). It looks nice, though. The biggest thing you will lack is the RDS functionality that later versions of BL7000 do facilitate. remote was not included.The only 7000 remote I&amp;#39;ve seen advertised was
in the 700 dollar range. I know of someone who may be willing to sell
aBeomaster 6500 remote, but he doesn&amp;#39;t know, nor do I if it willdo much
more than turn the system on and off. Can anyione give me some advice?
