This is the only stand alone subwoofer I am familiar with. With the cona, you run both channels through it to filter out the low end frequencies.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If you prefer an active subwoofer, just use one of the powerlink sockets and let you&amp;#39;re passive speakers operate simultaneously. &lt;p&gt;How do you use a sub woofer with a Beomaster 6500 and still run two sets of speakers? I am using passive speakers. S 120&amp;#39;s for that matter.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also any idea&amp;#39;s on what type of sub to use? I have a Vandersteen that I like but it might not be the best match.&lt;/p&gt;
