&lt;p&gt;Hi. The Beogram problem is a common one - I have summarised an excellent thread and posted it in this &lt;a target="_blank" href="http://www.beoworld.org/faq_view.asp?id=98"&gt;FAQ&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Beomaster problem is also quite common and probably needs the mechanism cleaning. Taking these apart is tricky - or at least putting them back together is! How brave are you!!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am pretty brave &lt;img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/01.gif" alt="Smile" /&gt; the slide was actually preventing it from working at all so I put a bare copper wire under the slide and it came on and played .I did spray a bit of deoxit in there but did not take it completely apart .&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have owned several Bang &amp;amp; Olufsen stereo&amp;#39;s but always sold them due to them needing too much work but this one is in nice condition other than the missing wood pieces which I will replace with some nice teak&lt;/p&gt;
