Is it the 70's one (very complicated but beautiful)

http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=356

or the mini BM8000 type from 80's.

http://www.beoworld.org/prod_details.asp?pid=358

I have the 80's one and I think I actually prefer it to the BM8000. Partly because you can use it as a (very big!) clock radio. Terrific sound as well.

Beomaster 6000 Will not power on :(

Hi all,

Well I have a Beomaster 6000 and after many years of working it will not power on. I have a question, does it contain a battery in the microprocessor area that would keep it from turning on like the 4500? or should I look at cap's & fuses? What is the general experiance with the 6000 that you all have?

Just wanted to clear up a question I got. It is the one from the 80's that is the little brother to the BM8000.

Thanks for your help.
