I am actually looking for spare parts for my Beocenter 9000. The cd clamper (plastic cap and spring) has cracked straight off on mine.

If your father-in-law decides to say goodbye to his system I would gladly purchase this from him. The remote can also be of interest.

With best regards

My father-in-law has a BC900 which he loves. It's been repaired a few times already and this time the shop says it needs a new power supply and a few capacitors (again). The left side of the cover is a bit loose, but you wouldn't notice unless you accidentally pulled up on it.

So, his options are to put another $300 to $600 into it, or, and very sadly, say goodbye to it.

If he does say goodbye, which he is somewhat reluctantly leaning towards, would this site be a place to find a new home for it, either for parts (remote, CD parts, etc.)? Or should we try eBay or Criagslist type sites? I'd hate to take it to an electronics recycle place if it can be of use to someone and possibly get my father-in-law a few $ towards a replacement.

Donald
