Datalink is a 7 pin cable. You can sometimes use a powerlink cable as a Datalink one though... Cut the central pin. &lt;p&gt;I do not know how many pin has a Datalink socket.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Powerlink (for the speakers) is also DIN, it has eight pins.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;i am the owner of a house with a masterlink system. &amp;nbsp;in one room though there is 8-pin socket. &amp;nbsp;is this a datalink outlet? is there a way to connect to a beovisio mx 4002 with masterlink connection?&lt;/p&gt;
