&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:small;"&gt;With the MMC3 and at higher volume, the MC120.2 speakers sounded plastic, artificial, and unnatural. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:small;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:small;"&gt;I was surprised by this as the Beomaster 4500 had done an AMAZING job at powering my Linn Isobaric and McIntosh ML2&amp;rsquo;s.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:small;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="MsoNormal" style="margin:0in 0in 0pt;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:Arial;font-size:small;"&gt;So perhaps it was the MMC3 that was at fault more than the MC 120.2 speakers.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

I have used S120s with all sorts of amplifiers and they work fine with all of them.
