Is there any tricks to turn on the unit? the wire going to the answering machine is it a regular tel. wire?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am new to this forum but for years enjoyed the B&amp;amp;O brand. I just purchased a used BeoTalk 1200 but unable to power on the unit. The included adapter is Input: 120v 60Hz 7 W, ootput: 7.5 DC 500 mA.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is this the right adapter? can someone with the same unit post the adapter info. or a picture?&lt;/p&gt;
