The aim is to lift the digital orchestra out of the province of the music studio and bring it into the concert hall as an expressive musical instrument. Using specially programmed video game controllers from the Nintendo Wii gaming system, I am able to control the Fauxharmonic&rsquo;s tempo, balance, and dynamics in much the same way that a conventional conductor leads live musicians.</p> <p>The performance will take place in Boston&#39;s Holy Name Church, a 2,000 seat cathedral, on May 20 at 8PM.
