Thanks for the reply.

I have yet to try "Shift" "Radio" but did find success with "Shift" "CD" then "Shift" "Sat" to get audio and video for the DVD or "Shift" "TV" to get audio and video for the TV.

Neil

If so you need to press "shift" - "radio" to activate the Beomaster to accept the TV input from the AUX socket.

You may need to press a number after "shift" "radio" to get the sound (it's a while since I had a MX connected to my BM7000). Start with 1 and work your way through until you get the right combination. I used a beolink 1000 BTW.

Hope this solves your problem.

Chris.

US MX 5000 / BeoMaster 7000 / Sony DVD / Sony DSS / BeoLink 5000 / BeoLink 7000 / BeoLink 1000

Hi All,

It's been awhile.

I am over at my folks house and am trying to get sound from a Sony DVD player (connected via RCA / S-Video to a US MX 5000 and then via a BeoLink cable to the BeoMaster 7000) played thru the speakers connected to a BeoMaster 7000.

I have the BeoLink 1000 that came with the TV, a BeoLink 5000 as well as the BeoLink 7000 but not a Beo4.

Pressing CDV on the BeoLink 5000 switches the TV from DSS to DVD but pressing AV then CDV does not switch the sound on the BeoMaster 7000.

All my User Guides are at my house so I am hoping someone has a guide handy and can help. Set-up code for: DSS thru Antenna A, VCR thru AV1 (SCART) and DVD thru AV2 (RCA /S-Video).

Thanks a million, Neil
