On my Beocom 1 registered to its Beoline base, if a separate phone (say, a Beocom 2400) is off-hook, the indicator light on handset does not flash.

Since I do not have another Beocom 1, I have no way of knowing if the light on Beocom 1 is supposed to flash when another Beocom 1 handset registered to the same Beoline is using the line, or if this is a failure. The manual is not clear on this. Here is what the manual says:

s

This is not a failure of the red LED, by the way. The LED does flash when there is an incoming call, so I know it is functional.

Beocom 1 software: handset sw v 1.70 mar 18 2004 / base v. 1.90 may 8 2006 / prod jul 28 2005

Thanks in advance for your comments.
