I tried the process from the manual, both registering from the handset and the 2 second unplugging. I have also unpugged the battery for one hour and retried....now what is the AUTO REGISTER? By the way I doubt that the Beocom 1 is the same as the 6000 when it comes to registering two bases.....is a trip to the dealer the only thing left?

Re: Beocom 1

OK, looks like you do have the right 2-line base and I assume your new handset is also a Becom 1 with LINE 1 and LINE 2 as the two top leftmost buttons. Did you make sure and unplug the BeoLine , wait 2 seconds, and plug it again? The BeoLine should flash red for a couple of minutes, signaling open to registration. Try two things:

1. Technically, you should be able to REGISTER BASE even without first removing the new handset's previous base (Beocom 6000, for instance, can register to more than 1 base).

2. Did you try AUTO REGISTER?

Good luck,

Re: Beocom 1

it is a beoline 2 line unit TO84149..the O could be zero....thanks for helping

Re: Beocom 1
