Recently acquired a pair of RL 140s that required the usual woofer surround replacement. Testing after refoam was&amp;nbsp;completed&amp;nbsp;revealed the woofers to be sounding fine, quite good as a matter of fact. One speaker seemed to be dull sounding overall, however. Long troubleshooting story short determined that one tweeter has about 50% (maybe even less)of the output of the other. DC resistance of both voice coils is 6.1 ohm. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Questions: Is this a treatable malady? If no, can anyone recommend a replacement tweeter available form the likes of Partsexpress ot Madisound? If still no, any information to help in determining likely candidates&amp;nbsp;such as crossover frequency points, tweeter efficiency, etc.&amp;nbsp;would be greatly appreciated.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
