I purchased a Beocord 3300 which the previous owner represented as working well but sold it &quot;as is&quot;. &nbsp;It turns out it did not. &nbsp;The belts were rotted off and the motor no longer functions. &nbsp;Can I replace the whole tape mechanism of the 3300 with one that does work properly out of a Beocord 2000? &nbsp;I have been told they are the same and the only functional differences between the units are the datalink and auto tape sensing. &nbsp;Thanks.</p><p>Jerry&nbsp;</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
