Hi,

You need a 2pin power cable for each speaker, which has a plug shaped like a number 8. The signal to the speakers is sent by a Powerlink cable that has 8 pin DIN plugs fitted at each end. Again, you need one cable per speaker. You can use any type of Powerlink cable (mark 1, 2 or 3) for Beolab 8000.

These are freely available from eBay, your local B&O dealer, or other cable companies.

Yes, the 8000s need power to them as they contain an amplifier.
It is a fairly standard lead similar to a kettle power cord.

You can buy a cable cover that contains both the power lead and the link cables so it looks like one big lead.

I was just recently given a 9300 and Beolab 8000 speakers and have not had much luck understanding how to properly

hook the speakers into the unit. I know it was working when it was disconnected but do not know if all the wiring

made it in the move from one house to another . My question is do the Beolab 8000's need a power cord attached to them

when you open the panel on the bottoms the DIN plugs in and there is a power(or what looks to be a power connection) there under

the pop up. Is this a standard power cable or is it a cable that plugs into a transformer don't want to plug anything in until I know.

Oh BTW I did not get a manual which is why I am a bit in the dark. Any help appreciated.
