Hi Graham,

The seller was mistaken about the jacks.

I have an external RIAA pre-amp for my Beogram 8000 which I use successfully with my Beomaster 4500.

The 9300 has the following din input sockets under the flap and near the speaker sockets:-

Aux

Phono/Tape2 (combined!!)

Note that the phono input does NOT include RIAA preamp so you will need either a deck with this facility built in or an external unit. Your BG8000 does NOT have built in RIAA.

I am considering a BeoCenter 9300 purchase, however the owner insists that there are NO input jacks on the BeoCenter 9300.

I was planning to use the 9300 in conjunction with my Beogram 8000 with power converter. I checked the User’s Guide in the BeoWorld reference library and it says that there is a choice of: Radio, Tape, CD, Phono, Tape 2, & Aux. There are illuminated red lettered choices to this effect on the lower right side of the BeoCenter.

Photos of the 9300 for sale appear to have the same red lettered options, however, the photo of the rear clearly shows only 4 speaker jacks and one for the antenna.

So does the BeoCenter 9300 accept and external phono? And if so, where is the input jack?
