ok, what is a BV10? any link?

Thanks!

he was pulling your leg.

A BV10 is a BeoVision 10.

The BeoLab 2 suggestion is more serious ... however others here describe it as ideal for action hero movies but not so good for music.

So it depends if you want fireworks and explosions and special effects, or if you want wonderful smooth jazz such as a sax solo.

You were correct about the BL11 having two powerlink output sockets ... sorry I was relying on my memory.

Just try testing with no BL11.

Your BL3s should be able to go up to a level like 60 without any distress on their part and with you feeling very happy from the quality of their sound (including bass but with out low low low bass) and volume; unless you have a very large room, or space that you are trying to fill.

Re: Sound problems

ok, what is a BV10? any link?

I was actualy quit disappointet of the BL11 - but not anylonger.....

Re: Sound problems

The speakers are connected as follow:
BC2 --> Beolab 11 --> 2x Beolab 3
Since teh beolab 11 has 2x powerlink out there is no need for splitter.
I have also played with all switches on the speakers with out any better result, so the final thing would be to check if there is any problem with the BC2 and I will check that by connecting a PC direct to the speakers to see if the sound gets better.

If not Beolab 2 is probably a suggestion......

Thanks!!

Or else replase the BL 11 with a BL2

Re: Sound problems

welcome to Beoworld and hopefully a life of B&O pleasure

B&O promote a natural sound

I suspect your ears are conditioned to the bose subwoofer

I have the same speakers as you

They are an absolute delight - and I never get listener fatigue - I can sit for hours in complete sonic pleasure or audio heaven

I don't have the BC2 so I would hazard a guess that in fact yours should sound better

If they are brand new speakers then they will need to be "run in"

I think the Beolab 3s needed about 100 hours to "loosen" them up

Just to check the set-up, you cables should run like this:

BC2 --PowerLink x 1--BeoLab 11--PowerLink x 1--PowerLink splitter--PowerLink x 2--Beolab 3s x2

And also check the switch settings on all 3 speakers

BTW what styles of music do you like / play ?

Sound problems

Hi,

I just bought myself a Beocenter 2 with beloab 3 and beolab 11 speakers.

Now I have some problem with the sound, I do not think I get good sound from the system, or I get very clear sound etc. but if I want to here something loud I do not think the bas or the sound is powerfull enough.
Any suggestions if I have done something wrong or??

Before I had an old bose system that I compare this to and the bose had better sound.......

Regards
Niklas
