You can report back if it works/fails.

As its quite late in the UK, most of the members aren't online, but I'm sure tomorrow someone will come up trumps with a solution for your proposed setup.

Best, Robert.

Re: Connecting BeoCenter 2300 to a wireless source

Thanks Robert, I have heard of such things, but am not experienced with them myself. Maybe some others will reply to help. Regards, Tom

Re: Connecting BeoCenter 2300 to a wireless source

You might be able to use one powerlink output to a BL2500 and daisy chain the other speaker onto it, then use the second powerlink on the BC 2300 to output to your wireless receiver. That (daisy-chaining) would work if each BL2500 had 2 powerlink sockets. I'm sure one of our more knowledgeable members could say whether that works in practice, as I've never tried it myself.

Robert.

Re: Connecting BeoCenter 2300 to a wireless source

Thanks for the reply, which is what I was suspecting, regrettably. Yes, I was planning on connecting the Beolab 2500 speakers to the BC2300. I am wondering how to split from these to the transmitter. Tom

Re: Connecting BeoCenter 2300 to a wireless source

As far as I know, the AUX is input only, so you'd have to use a DIN to RCA adapter, and connect the RCA to your wireless transmitter. Would you be connecting speakers directly to the BC 2300 aswell as the transmitter?

Connecting BeoCenter 2300 to a wireless source

Hi All, need some advice,

Heading down to Florida tomorrow to hook up a BC2300 I recently purchased for my Mother-in-Law. In addition, I want to hook up a couple pair of wireless speakers on the deck and a pair near the pool, from the 2300. I've got the wirelss spkr's and transmitter.

My question is: Is there a Line Out connection on the 2300 that I can use, OR am I going to have to use a DIN-Y connector to split off the 2300 power link output to also go to the wireless transmitter input? The Wireless transmitter will use an RCA input, so I know I will need a DIN to RCA adapter.

Thanks for the help.

Tom
