They were burned at the highest speed. Other brands do play okay however. With iTunes? If you just stuck some audio files on a CD in OS X then it won't work at all...&lt;/p&gt;

I just tried to play a burnt Sony (sorry, but B&amp;amp;O don&amp;#39;t make them!) disc which spins and pauses twice and sometimes does and sometimes doesn&amp;#39;t play. Some others from the same pack are also a bit &amp;#39;hesitant&amp;#39;. This is the only problem I&amp;#39;ve had with burned CDs and I&amp;#39;m wondering if it is brand-related. I chose these because they are brightly coloured iridescent blue - they look great in the machine!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It was a CD-R, burned on a Macintosh computer, played on a Mark 2 BeoSound 9000.
