I shouldn't have taken it for granted that it would have HDMI in like the BV8, but same procedure, right? You'll need a DVI-to-DVI cable, then.

Re: BeoCen 6-23

The BeoCenter 6-series do not have the HDMI input - only DVI.

On the 6-23 you get the picture on the screen by pressing "PC" on your Beo4. Then you need to pull up the DVI SETUP menu (press MENU) to adjust the settings for the DVI-input. Your PC (sorry, Mac) should be set up with the correct resolution for the external display (1366x768).

Roger

Re: BeoCen 6-23

That shouldn't be a problem. I connect my Macs with ease to my BV8.

Here's what you should do. Get a DVI-to-HDMI converter cable. (DVI is the video protocol of HDMI, and is the same plug that is in your Mac to drive an external screen.)

The HDMI connector goes into the BV.

Then in setup you need to assign the source properly. If you're using a Beo4, then just add PC to LIST; and in the setup menu on the BeoVision, you tell the television that PC means the HDMI input.

BeoCen 6-23

Can any B&O TV be plugged into an Apple Mac computer? I have noticed in a few of the showrooms that they use the Beovis-8 and Beocen-6 as monitors but I have tried to plug in my mac laptop and gone through all the setup with the B&O TV, there is some sort of recognition but not a correct connection... Is there anyway to make the mac connect with the B&O at the moment it does seem to be the mac's end that is causing the problem....
