It is an internal module. It activates as V.Aux which is not ideal. The Avant works much better with Sky in my opinion.

Does the STB-C connect to the back or is it a module that needs to be installed onto the internals?

Anybody got one for sale...?

No. You would have to attach the Sky+ to the AV9000. You will need an STB-C in the AV9000 - they are apparently no longer made though. This is a big problem with the AV9000 - I use mine as a separate system with a second Sky box.

Hi All, new to the forum and need a little advice...

I've just got my gear out of storage (they've been there for 4 years) and I know I'm going to have problems linking it all together as last time I ran it as two seperate systems.

In the living room I have 32" Avant with BeoLab 1 (front) & BeoLab 6000 (rear) & BeoLab 2. I also have the BeoSound 9000.

In the bedroom I have the AV 9000 with BeoLab 8000 (front) & BeoLab 4000 (rear) and a BeoSound 3200.

Then I also have the BeoLab 3500 & BeoLab 2000 elsewhere in the house.

As far I'm aware, the AV9000 can only be configured as Master but could I configure the Avant as a slave and have it as one system? Also, if this was possible, would I be able to link the Sky+ to the Avant and still have full control throughout the whole system?
