For teak veneer just find a manky old 1950's piece of veneered furniture and leave it out in the rain for a couple of weeks

It's teak. I'm a bit low on funds at the moment, so it will be a while before I get round to veneering the switch box, but I'll be sure to show some pictures when it's finished. I have to partially re-panel my beocord 900 too, then replace the beogram 1202 that my Mum gave to a charity shop :(

OK,

I know what you mean so THIS should simplify things a little, better quality than the Maplin lead Plug your sources ito the inputs and this will go from the output of the switch box to the tape socket of the beomaster.

A decent cabinet makers supplier should be able to obtain some veneer for you, I got some locally to me.

Hmmm... I think this could work. You'll have to excuse me, I get a bit dyslexic when there are so many cables types and connections going on.

So the stereo phono plugs from the TV/PS2/mp3 would plug into the switch box, and the RCA/DIN adaptor lead would go from the output of the switch box, into the Tape socket?

In which case, would I need the RCA/DIN lead to have four phono plugs (like the one you linked)? The switch box doesn't show how many phono ports there are for output you see...

The four phono plugs confuse me a bit, as I don't know which is for what... I've never been good with phono.

*edit* Another quick question... do you know where I could get some of the wood/laminate panelling from the Beo901? I wouldn't mind fixing up the switch box to match the amp... that dial + B&O styling would be too sexy!

Maplins sell a 4 way switch box which has RCA/phono connections, simply use a RCA/Din adaptor lead to plug into your tape socket. I'm assuming your devices have RCA/phono plugs any way?

5 Pin DIN switchbox?

Hi again...

I have a Beomaster 901 Amp which we use in our house as our primary amplifier. The problem is, there are only two ports on the back (Tape and Phono) and we have 3 devices that use the Tape port. At the moment we are switching the cables around every time we want to use the Television, Playstation 2/DVD, and mp3 player.

Does anyone know of a switch box that we could plug all three cables into, which in turn plugs into the Tape port- so that switching between devices can be achieved without cable swapping? We have a Scart switch box, I haven't been able to find one for DIN5 though. Any help would be appreciated!

I live in the UK, but would be able to ship from overseas.
