You can have more than one extra room - but is £10 for each extra room. Each room has its own box and cable from the dish. I think you can get 6 feeds from a dish - Sky+ needs 2 though.

That's £10 per month/extra room though. Gets a bit expensive!

I think you may have problems finding the STB-Cs. You don't actually need the RF to go through the Sky box. In your case I wouldn't!

thanks for the reply, yes both the MX's don't have the STBC built in and am not sure that these can still be bought - do you know? in terms of connections into the MX's are boxes connected in the same way as the main room with the coax feeding into the sat box? and back into the tv.

Unfortunately, multi room is not multi, it's just one other room. You specify where you want the extra Sky box and they plumb the 2nd LNB to it!

I have my RF around the house with a booster in the loft but I have not tried taking a 2nd Sky RF feed to it. Let us know how you get on if you go ahead.

If you are going multi-room, the sat box will attach via the SCART. You will need an STB-C to work the Sky boxes in the other rooms. This will mean getting the MXs fitted with these if they are not already fitted or just using the Sky remote. If your MXs are like my AV9000, they use V.Aux as the Sat channel when using an STB-C. Thus you should be able to use both the multi-room and the main room Sky box - useful if you have Sky+ in the main room.

Does anyone have any experience of having sky multiroom with their B&O. I am thinking about upgrading my sky to multi room (kids are growing etc) and I want to be able to link it all through the existing setup. I currently have a BV5 as the main set with MX4002 in the bedroom and MX4000 (with beolink video) in the kids room, but we are beginning to fight over the channels and terrestrial is only fine some of the time. The coax has been redistributed around the house via an expander box in the loft but just a little confused if I introduce sky multiroom how I do it.

some pointers would be great.
